Test on Unit 2 Naming and Properties
Thursday Mar 23
1- I quickly pointed out molar mass to you
2-Today we worked on balancing chemical equations. You received a handout of practice with balancing equations-try these over the next week(It is very important to figure each equation out on your own so that you become proficient at balancing)
Friday Mar 24
1-On Wednesday, you were introduced to molar mass and avogadros number. Homework from wednesday :Text p 315 #48,49 and #53,54 note 54 is just like 53.
2- You copied two examples of mole calculations into your notebook from an orange handout. From your textbook you did p 298 16, 17 and p 299 18,19
3-Once you returned this handout you received the page with equation translating. This is to be done on looseleaf to pass in.
Please Do all of 1 and all of 2. I have done 1a for you. Please make sure that you copy this answer down.
I have also done 2a for you. Please make sure that you include this too. If you pass this in by the end of the class you will receive bonus marks.
4- Finished everything? Please spend some time on the 50 ways to name your compound assignment. It will be due next Friday Mar 31
